Kent Roosevelt

Kent Roosevelt High School's learning community consisted of four seniors, a junior, a high school chemistry teacher, and a near-peer mentor. The teacher was skeptic about the one younger student being in a group of four seniors, but soon learned it was not a problem. The five students worked well together during the twelve days, teaching one another and completing the tasks successfully. While each brought something different and unique to the group, it created a balanced, driven community----helping them take many memories and lessons home. Link to school site
