I am cureently working on a biology degree at Hiram College. With this degree I hope to go into research biology.
Personal statement
My two main interest in high school were science and theater. In my high school four science credits are required to graduate. Above the general freshman and biology classes I took AP biology, chemistry, anatomy, and forensic science. I thoroughly enjoyed every class. The biological sciences for whatever reason interest me. I think it is so amazing to learn about the living world around us, how his world works and why things are the way they are. I also was very involved in my high school’s theater program. I helped build seven different sets for seven different shows as well as preforming in most of them or being on a crew. I also took two preforming arts classes. Theater is such a wonderful emotional outlet as well as ton of fun. It is like playing pretend as a kid but now people actually pay to come watch you. Both of these interest influenced my decision to major in biology and to consider a double major or minor in theater.
