My name is Steven Shaak and I am a junior at Hiram College. I was apart of the 2008 biomes around the world trip. I am a biology major. Traveling, insects, reptiles, and amphibians are my major interests. Jobs/research I am currently looking at revolve around researching animals in different countries, so this trip was a great test to see if those job ideas would be feasible. I was the guy with the underwater housing for his camera, so I took most of the wonderful underwater pictures that you may see on the associated sites. Most, was strategically picked because my apprentice Troy Hottle had also taken many under water pictures while on the trip
