Hi, I am Lindsey Smith. I am a Biology major and Environmental Studies minor, and will be graduating from Hiram in 2009. After Hiram I intend to continue to graduate school once I have narrowed down my passions for ecology and the environment. I have ambitions of one day becoming a professor, as I am addicted to the academic setting. At Hiram I am involved in the outdoors club, the scuba club, the swim team, our chapter of American Institute of Biological Sciences, Students for Environmental Action Coalition, Student Ambassadors, and the Stone Soup Vegetarian Coop. I work at the James A. Barrow Biological Field Station, as a writing assistant, and as a science tutor. My time at Hiram has left a significant impression, allowing me to grow in character, knowledge, and self awareness, not to mention enabling me to expand my knowledge of the world by actually traversing it.
