Hi I'm Michelle Crowl from California and a sophomore in Environmental Studies at Hiram College, specifically looking at bio-monitoring aquatic environments. I hope to work with stream & river, lake and ocean cconservation, spacifically coral reef conservation. This trip is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about how the environments around the world work. As Daniel Kehlmann says through Bonpland in Measuring the World " A man who traveled far learned many things. Some of them about himself." In this journey I hope to learn many things. Some of those things are about myself, things I never thought I could do, like long 12 mile hikes. I want to thank my parents for letting me come on this amazing journey.
