My name is Katie Eppley and I'm in my second year at Hiram College. I play oboe, run cross country, and work in the Stone Soup Vegetarian Co-op. I study Biology and Spanish and hope to one day combine them with a profession in conservation ecology. The Biomes trip specifically sparked my interest in human influence on the environment and the biology of the earth. This opportunity was unique and I feel so blessed to be a part of the first "Biomes" group at Hiram.
