2010 - The cost of the program in 2010 is $11,500 above tuition.  A refund on room and board for the 13 weeks of the program will be applied to students who are living on campus making the cost of the trip roughly $8,000 above tuition, room and board.

2008  The cost of the program in 2008 was $10,000 above tuition. A refund on room and board for the 12 weeks of the program was applied to students who were living on campus making the cost of the trip roughly $7,500 to 8,000 above tuition, room and board.

The cost of the program includes all travel arrangements (air, bus, train, limousine) during the 12 or 13 week experience and is based on departure from and return to Cleveland, Ohio.  All student must depart from Cleveland to avoid problems with connections for the group for the first leg of the program.  The return leg of the program can be booked to any city but may incure an extra charge or refund if the cost is differernt from flying to Cleveland.  The cost also includes all room and board expenses for the 12 or 13 weeks, entrance fees, scuba expenses and necessary expected tips. The cost does not include additional travel expenses during free days and breaks nor optional activities undertaken by participants, activities that are not part of the program. Participants will be housed in diverse kinds of living facilities from spartan field conditions (tents, cabins and dorms) to hotel rooms with baths. Participants must expect to live in community with other participants. We can not accommodate special living arrangements at any time (single or double rooms) although these may be options presented to participants in some locations.
