Components -  There are many components for this class.  First off is being able to use and figure out the technology of this class.  We have learned how to do a couple different things in this course including this webpage and google docs.  A lot of the things we do are hands on, so another component would be observing and reporting the things we see when we look at the wetlands and the streams.  Group work is a big part of this class.  We have been placed in learning communities and have been given the opportunity to learn in a small group and observe in a small group.

Activities - I have participated in many activities in this class thus far.  I have been fortunate enough to perform ORAM tests on wetlands and QHEI test on streams.  Field research has been greatly educational for me and it has also been very fun.  Other activities I have done are mostly group activities which is a really good way to learn more about what we do in this class and more about the streams and wetlands that we have observed.  I have also done some community service at Bonny Castle which was very beneficial for myself and the environment.  In the future Our group will create a webpage for this class, so there are many activities that I am looking forward to.

Skills Developed - Some of the skills I have developed from this class are that I am learning how to do more on the computer with all the google docs stuff we have dune and the creation of this webpage.  My ability to work better in a group and use my skills properly in a group is also a skill I have developed.  Being able to observe the nature such as the wetlands and streams in a different point of view has been also been a great skill.

Major - I am a management major, Junior at Hiram College - Graduating class of 2013

Career Goals - Hoping to get a well paying job right out of college, doing something I enjoy.  Maybe getting into marketing, not sure what exactly I want to do yet.

Watershed - Can be defined as an area of land that catches any type of participation and drains it into a stream, river, lake, ect.
