West Geauga's learning community began as a discombobulated group of 10 high school students with varying intrests. However, our group evolved in order to create a brand new program for our school. Throughout the trials and tribulations of the ISLS Institute we formulated a revolutionary idea to begin to improved the pedigogy at our own school. A program we call "Wicked Waters" will soon get students involved with alternative learning styles and enviromental science. The first step in the Wicked Waters program, is Wicked Waters Week (WWW). Our plan is to take a high school freshman or sophmore biology class under our wing for a week. We hope to organize our students in a way very similair to the way we were organized.
