The students of John Marshall High School are collaborating to design a Science Field Day at their school. They plan to incorporate all the science classes at their school and present to them the knowledge gained from the ISLS institute. The students will teach the classes at their school information about wetlands, primary headwaters, invasive species, and other ecological related topics. The learning community of John Marshall is also hoping to revive the environmental group at their school. Their school is in the process of getting rebuilt. While the old school is in construction, they are hoping to keep the environmental group alive and strong to show others in the school and in the community that their surroundings are important and to hopefully excite their audience about environmental issues.
