Wetlands (ORAM) Monitoring

The Ohio EPA's Rapid Assessment Method (ORAM) is an instrument for assessing the quality of a wetland. It consists of a evaluation form where the assessor gives points for six metrics, four of which have sub-metrics. There is also a user manual which provides a detailed description of each metric. The wetland is then assigned a category (1 = poor quality, 2 = medium, and 3 = high quality) according to how many points the wetland scored.
