Leah Schaffer




I am a junior Biomedical Humanities and Creative Writing double major.  While most people’s faces show a sort of confusion upon hearing this combination, my experiences here at Hiram have taught me that is just the blend that this world needs.   After Hiram, I would like to pursue further studies in Creative Writing and Nutrition.  Of course, after participating in the Biomes of the World program, I’ve caught the travel bug, and have made the promise to myself to continue traveling, understanding that the greatest lessons that can be learned aren’t found in any books.
